ANATOMICAL
This was my first project of second year, which focused on trying out new techniques and machines, including Tufter, Cornely and Irish. I chose the theme Anatomical so I focused on bone structure in animal skulls particularly.
I wasn't designing for any set market so I had the freedom to create whatever I wanted, and just experiment and play with a lot of various skills and machines. I liked having this freedom but at some stages I felt like I needed more direction to what I was doing, especially near the end it seemed there was no purpose to my samples and I didn't know where I saw them.
